There are literally hundreds of cases and sleeves available for the iPod family. So which one should you choose? Well, obviously it depends on your needs...whether you want your iPod to be encased in metal, sealed in plastic, caressed in fabric or protected in rubber.

As far as silicone iPod skins go, there are dozens available on the market, in various colours and textures. But nothing comes close to the uniqueness and sheer fun factor of The Podstar.

The Podstar comes packaged in a nice little black box which includes a neck strap, screen protector and a dog tag! The skin is available in 4 designs, each having a black or red version. The cool thing is it's shaped like a little devil, with devil horns and tail. Very cute indeed.

The Podstar covers the nano perfectly and provides the necessary protection against scratches and bumps. It has a small opening at the top for the Hold switch and the bottom is exposed for the dock connector and headphones.

The high quality silicone feels sturdy and even though the tail is a separate piece attached to the body, it doesn't look like it's going to tear off very easily. It feels quite comfortable carrying it around in your pocket as the soft horns and tail do not poke.

This is a truly fun skin for the nano and it gives nano owners a sense of individuality. But perhaps the most amazing thing about the Podstar is that this cool product is made by a Malaysian company!

The Podstar Diablo range (for both nano and Video) is available for online purchase exclusively at scratchdisk Webstore.
