Night of the Panther

In conjunction with the worldwide release of Mac OS X 10.3 (or Panther), MacAsia held a Night of the Panther launch party.

Hisham of MacAsia welcomed the guests just after 8:00pm and invited me, as a representative from the myMUG protem committee, to say a few words about the User Group. Then Calvin demonstrated Panther and highlighted several of the new features to the attentive crowd. There were obviously a lot of new 'goodies' in OS X 10.3!

After the presentation, we headed for the buffet table and helped ourselves to some finger food and ice lemon tea. While some of us were busy trying out Panther or checking out the latest hardware, the rest ate and chatted. It was a good time to bond with other Mac users and make new friends.

The night ended as the crowd slowly dispersed around 10:00pm.
